Self Unload - Many delivery points (e.g. motorbike shops, race tracks) don't have forklifts onsite. Self unloading then becomes a essential part of motorbike delivery. Trying organise a forklift at the delivery point (e.g. race track) can often be difficult logistically and expensive. No waiting to be unloaded - Relying on a site forklift (e.g. Exhibition) or a customer to borrow one from a neighbouring business for example, can often mean your truck is delayed waiting to be unloaded. Use a Tail Lift? - The motorbikes are often in large crates / stillages which it difficult to handle on a tail lift. | Deliver away from the truck - With a Palfinger TMF, there is no need to get the truck exactly where the delivery is required. If the site is conjested (busy motorbike shop), muddy (e.g. quad bikes to farms) or has restricted access, it's no problem.
